It feels so good to see work I’ve been a part of get fabulous ratings on Goodreads, almost as good as it feels to see my work in a book with an actual binding for the first time. And yes, I reviewed it. I reviewed a book I’m in because I genuinely think the work is good. So head over and join me (and let me stalk your books. I always need more books! The sexiest stuff is made of words, after all.)
Best Lesbian Erotica 2012 by Kathleen Warnock
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Perhaps I’m a little biased, as my story made it into the book this year, but I really thought the collection was exquisite. Everything was exactly as Sinclair Sexsmith said it would be in their introduction: hot, smart about gender, and always good writing. And not fluff. Stories like these are important–each and every one of these stories are subversive and their own form of activism, and not forgetting, of course, that they’re also quite a turn on. A must read, a must buy. I show it off proudly and say “look at what these writers can do.”
